Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites.
What we have done
- Body text, headings, buttons and form labels meet the minimum colour contrast for readability. A few small labels in our brand orange fall just below it; if any of them are hard to read, tell us and we will send the information in another format.
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users go straight to the main content.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations are switched off for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are explained in words, not colour alone.
- Pages still work when text is enlarged up to 200%.
Accessibility at our events
Accessibility matters to us beyond this website. At our conferences we provide sign-language interpretation and live captions, step-free venues and ramped stages, and quiet rooms, and we register delegates on platforms that meet WCAG 2.2 AA. See how we make our events accessible.
Tell us if something does not work
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, email hello@waridievents.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.
